What is Triple Ball Academy

Triple Ball is an All Skill + Gameplay Training for athletes ready to take the next step into preparing for Club Competition. Skills training will include Passing, Serving, Setting, Hitting, Blocking training with emphasis on systematic Offensive and Defensive formations and systems in a controlled environment. Each week we will focus on certain skills leading up to our weekly. Games will begin after 3 weeks of training.

Why is it Called Triple Ball? When we get to our game training, our athletes will play in live games that will be controlled for learning purposes and more quality touches during gameplay. Triple Ball will be explained and trained to our athletes all throughout the 7 Week sessions.

What Is Our Goal For Triple Ball Academy?

Our goal is to be able to help our athletes develop a good foundation in the fundamentals of volleyball. While continuing on developing all the necessary skills, our main goal is to help our athletes understand the system of volleyball. What positions are and their responsibilities. Awareness and Reaction to situational plays in offense and defense. Serve-receive formations and responsibilities. The IQ for the game. These will be heavily focused on in addition to our Skills training.

Players who excel in this program may be invited to our Advanced Club Prep at anytime based on coaches evaluation.

Who Is Triple Ball Geared For?

We define our Semi-Intermediate/Intermediate level as athletes with good foundation in passing platform, good form, technique, and strength with overhand serve (able to serve from serving-line or close to it), good ball control with sense of location and understanding of 3 contacts. Players with active movements. While still inconsistent and may struggle at times, players are ready for this program if they have these good foundations already.
Players may not understand positions or systems just yet but learns quickly and able to adapt to new strategies.

NOTE: PLAYERS MAY BE ASKED TO MOVE TO OUR XCEL ACADEMY IF STRUGGLING TO MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS.

For athletes looking to get into club and is committed to progress and preparation for a higher level of competition. Players looking to participate in local league club competition and large scale 3 Day tournaments, this is your you if you meet our expectations above. Not for Beginners/Semi-Beginners.

When is Triple Ball and How Much Is this Academy For Full 7 Weeks?

7 Week program
Every Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00P - 6:30P
Starts August 18th and Ends September 30th. No Class On Monday, September 5th Due to Labor Day Holiday.

We recommend registering for the full 7 Weeks but will allow weekly drop-ins.

Regular Pricing for Our Triple Ball Program for 7 Weeks is $725 ($100 per week). Registering in full saves you $125.

No Shirt OR Jersey included with 1 Week registration only. Limited availability of shirts for athletes who are registered for more than 2 Weeks.

Refund Policy

No refunds for any cancelled sessions by parent or player. We may allow credits for future Triple Ball or XCEL Programs based on the situation. Sorry, No Make Ups for any missed day or session. Triple ball is currently a fall program but may be implemented monthly.

Participating in our program Does Not guarantee placement on a team if trying out for potential Elite NYS or Local/Regional Teams.
